The year 2000 has been an absolute top year for waders, and for White-rumped Sandpipers in particular. No less than 6 (all adult) were reported, on one occasion even 2 together! The famous island of Texel also had its share with two birds (although on different localities). Videograbs of these are shown below. Interesting to see was the different stage of moult the birds were in. This made them individually identifiable.
