On these pages, I present some of my results obtained with my Sony Digital Video cameras. In 2000, I bought a TRV11E, but as this broke down in 2011, I switched to a modern HighDefinition Handycam, a HDR-CX160E. Not only allows this for a much higher magnification of 42x, which is useful for taking record shots of birds, it is so small and handy that I almost always carry it along when I am out birding. The quality of the pictures (especially when used in combination with a telescope) is often far less than one may be accustomed to when using digital cameras, but the large magnification (being less restricted to sunny light conditions) and the ease of use make up for this.

I also included pictures taken with a Canon Powershot G2 digital camera, mostly from butterflies, dragonflies and damselflies.
